Bacon Onion Jam

Bacon

Thyme
Brown Sugar
Balsamic Vinegar
Salt
Pepper

– In a pan render bacon strips. Once bacon is cooked remove, but keep the fat in the pan. Thinly slice your onions and add them to bacon fat pan, and cook on medium low heat for about 10 minutes until soft. After 10 minutes add some thyme, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, and cook for another 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste and place in a jar.

Herb Butter

Ingredients:

Butter
Olive Oil
Parsley
Garlic
Salt
Pepper

– In a bowl combine butter, olive oil, chopped parsley, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix, and place in the fridge.

Cheese!

Ingredients:

Cheddar
Gouda

– Grate cheddar cheese and gouda cheese, mix.

Ooey Gooey Grilled Cheese

– In a pan heat olive oil on medium heat and add 2 slices of bread. On the untoasted sides spread garlic herb butter, and flip (so butter side is now down). Add onion jam to one slice then add bacon. On the other slice add tomato. Top both sides with cheese and sandwich together. Using a heavy pan (cast iron) press down. Flip and press again. Enjoy!

The Mexican Falafel

Mexican Falafel

Black Bean Falafel

Dried/canned chickpeas
Dried/canned black beans
1/2 Onion
2 Garlic cloves
1 Handful of cilantro
1/2 Juice of a lime

– In a food processor pulse onion, garlic, cilantro lime juice, salt and pepper. Pulse until finely chopped, and can be clumped together. Heat frying oil in a large skillet or deep pot. Form falafel balls and drop into oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes, flip and fry again for 1 minute. Drain on paper towels and season with salt while hot.
**When frying falafels your oil has to be hot ideally 350 degrees. If you’re oil isn’t hot enough the falafel balls will break down in the oil.**

Baja Sauce

1 Red bell pepper
1/2 Onion
2 Garlic cloves
1 handful of cilantro
3 Tablespoons of sour cream
1/2 Juice of lime

– In a food processor blend bell pepper, onion, garlic, cilantro, salt and pepper for 2 minutes. Strain out liquid. In a bowl combine sour cream, lime juice, and bell pepper mixture.

Smoked Salmon Miso

1 Teaspoon White Miso

Beef Pho

– Open Cup of Noodle add teaspoon of Five-Spice powder and Hoisin sauce and fill with hot water and cover. Let noodles sit for a few minutes. Pull lid off and mix noodles. Then add roast beef, basil, fish sauce, sprouts, squirt of lime, and Jalapeno. Mix and slurp!

Thai Coconut Curry

– Open Cup of Noodle and fill half with coconut milk, add green curry paste, sweet peppers, and Shiitake Mushrooms, fill with hot water, cover and let sit for a few minutes. Peel off lid and mix together. Add cilantro and squeeze of lime, mix again and eat!

Chicken Tikka Masala

– Open Cup of Noodles add curry powder and tomato sauce. Then add chickpea, and sliced grilled chicken. Add hot water but don’t fill all the way, you want it to be creamy like Tikka Masala. Cover and let sit for a few minutes. Peel off lid and add yogurt, mix and add cilantro. Enjoy!

Kimchi Tofu

– Open shrimp Cup of Noodle and add gochujang pepper paste, (add more or less depending on how spicy you like it) sliced kimchi and diced tofu. Add hot water, cover and let it sit for a few minutes. Peel back lid and add chopped scallion, mix and eat!

Smoked Salmon Miso

– Open Cup of Noodle and rinse it out with water, you don’t really need the seasoning broth. Add miso paste, some sliced smoked salmon, and chopped scallions. Add hot water, cover and let sit for a few minutes. Peel off lid and mix together. Then add more smoked salmon, seaweed, sliced red chili peppers, scallion, and egg yolk. Mix and slurp it up!
