Wendy’s Value Meal Homemade

JBC

  • Junior Bacon
    Ingredients:
    Ground Chuck
    Tomatoes
    Iceberg Lettuce
    Mayonnaise
    Bacon

Fries

  • Ingredients
    Russet Potatoes
    Canola Oil

Chocolate Frosty

  • 2 cups of good chocolate milk
    1/2 cup of cool whip
    ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk

Steps

Junior Bacon

1. Take some wax paper, or plastic wrap, and lay a sheet out on the table. Taking a ball of ground beef slightly bigger than a golf ball smoosh the meat down into a square shape about 1/4 inch thick.

2. Season with salt and pepper on one side and lay patty down on the seasoned side on a non-stick pan over medium high heat with a little bit of oil in the pan. Hit the unseasoned side with salt and pepper and cook for about two minutes until the meat gets a nice char on it.

3. Cook on the other side for another minute or two but the patty is so thin that it does not take long. Once you have cooked it for a minute or so place a slice of cheese on top and add your bacon. That american cheese melts fast so only add once you are about to take off the burger.

4. Open up the bun, place the patty with cheese and bacon on the botton side, top it with lettuce, a slice of tomato and some mayonaise.

Fries

1. Cut up potatoes in to thick fry shape, soak in some water for about 30 minutes, dry off and fry them in a non-stick pan with enough oil to cover the bottom and go up the sides about 1/4 inch. Turn heat to medium high. Once they just start to cook through and get a small amount of color take them out of the oil, dry them on a paper towel and place them in a zip lock bag and in the freezer for later use.

2. Now, whenever you get home late night and crave delicious fries simply take out the frozen fries that you made, use the same oil from earlier or add new oil in the same amount and fry the fries, being sure to flip them over once, until golden brown, crispy and delicious. Take the fries out, put them on some paper towel, hit them with salt and prepare to be amazed.

I know that Wendy’s uses thinner fries now but they used to use the thick cut and I still prefer that so I cut my fries thick, man thick.

Chocolate Frosty

1.Pour the chocolate milk in the ice cube mold and freeze
2.add chocolate cubes to the blender with cool whip and condensed milk and blend until smooth and ICY (believe me you will taste it)

Spicy Bacon Cheddar Popcorn

Ingredients

1/4 cup popcorn kernels
6-8 bacon strips
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps

Cut bacon into tiny strips and fry in pan on medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon with slotted spoon keeping the bacon fat in the pan. Drop the kernels into pan and mix in the bacon grease. Wait a few seconds for the first kernel to pop and then immediately put a lid on the pan. Let the kernels pop for 2-3 minutes, giving the pan an occasional shake so the kernels don’t burn. Turn off the heat, remove the lid and top the popcorn with the crispy bacon and cheddar cheese. Place the pan under the broiler or in a very hot oven until the cheese is melted. Be careful not to burn the cheese or popcorn. Top with your household hot sauce and start munching!

  • Evan Williams Whiskey
  • Maple Syrup

Steps

Brass Monkey
Open up the old English and drink down to the top of the first label line. Fill up the remainder of the bottle with orange juice. You will be amazed how delicious this somehow ends up tasting.

Spicy Coconut Grilled Corn
1. In a bowl mix 1/3 cup of mayonnaise, the juice of one lime and 1 tablespoon of your favorite hot sauce
2. Hit the corn with some oil, salt, and pepper and grill on all sides until nice and charred.
3. Take the corn off the grill, pour over the spicy mayonnaise and sprinkle over the coconut and cilantro.

Grilled Chicken, Sausage, Peppers and Onions

1. Marinade the chicken in your favorite marinade, we used lime, olive oil, garlic, cilantro and salt and pepper but you can use whatever the hell you want, honestly grilled chicken thigh is delicious and one of the easiest things to grill no matter what you do with it.
2. Over a hot grill cook the sausage and chicken until crispy on both sides and cooked through. Sausage and chicken thigh have a lot of fat making them hard to over cook.
3. Slice the peppers and onions width wise, on your leg is my preferred method but I don’t recommend, hit them with salt, pepper and oil and grill on both sides until nice and flame grilled.

Grilled Cheese:
Ingredients
Frier Cheese (Can be found in market with the mexican cheese also known as “Queso”)

1. Cut slices of the frier cheese, hit with some oil and grill on both sides until golden
2. Stuff is so freakin good on its own, will blow your mind.

Grilled Jalapeno Black Beans

1. Open up can of black beans, remove 1/4 of the beans and save for something else. Take of the label.
2. Put the can on the grill, bottom side down, unless you are an idiot, hit them with some salt and pepper and add the cilantro, garlic and jalapeno. Mix and mash a little.
3. Cook until the beans start to bubble and then let them sit on the grill off to the side to slowly melt all of the flavors together.
4. Eat and enjoy.

Grilled Cheese Stuffed Chicken Sausage Corn Fajita Burrito

1. Put the tortilla on your lap if you are like me, but if you are of a more advanced species use a plate, add some chicken, sausage, peppers, onions, black beans, spicy mayo and corn.
2. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the mixture and then carefully begin to wrap the top over making sure that the filling stays in.
3. Hit the burrito with some oil and grill, seam side down. Flip over and grill on the other side. Take off, slice if you’d like, and enjoy the most delicious, without a question, grilled stuffed burrito you will ever eat.

Whiskey Maple “All Natural” Snow Cone

1. Take a small cup and pack it with snow (no not fudge Adam)
2. Add a shot of whiskey and some maple syrup.

The “Secret” White Sauce
Mix all ingredients together and add a tablespoon or two of water to thin the sauce out. Put in a squeeze bottle and enjoy the shit out of it on anything!

Yellow Rice

Chop half of an onion and mince two cloves of garlic.
Heat oil on medium high heat in a sauce pan and add in the onion until caramelized (4-5 minutes).
Drop in the garlic and keep cooking for another minute.
Add in the rice, water, turmeric powder and salt and pepper.
Wait until the mixture boils then put a lid on the pot and turn the heat down to low.
Cook the rice for 10-15 minutes until it is tender.
You can always add more water if the rice starts to dry out in the cooking process.

Cut the stems off of 10-12 peppers and toss them in a food processor (take out the seeds if you want less spice).
Add around 1/4 cup of the pepper pickling mixture.

Grilled Sesame Crusted Tuna
Go to the store and treat yourself to a nice piece of tuna!
Could be yellow fin, ahi or anything else available.
Cut tuna into a nice even rectangle.
Season tuna with salt and pepper then coat the outside with black and white sesame seeds(if you don’t have either of those, just leave this step out).
Insert into the forman grill and close the lid for 2 minutes.
Flip onto uncooked side and cook for another 2 minutes.
If you want it super rare cook for 1 minute a side or if you like it more well done, cook for 3 minutes a side.
Remove from the grill and slice!

Snickers Panini
